In depth

Verdict

None can be ruled out in a tricky-looking contest. Rossetti won off a higher mark last summer and will have benefited from a recent run at Plumpton. Red Tornado is eased in grade and should be thereabouts but jockey bookings would suggest the consistent Excellent Team is Dan Skelton’s best hope of success. Broughtons Rhythm beat Saturday’s Bangor winner Zenafire at Uttoxeter in March while Burning Heat sports blinkers on his handicap debut. Craggaknock won twice at Wetherby over the winter but probably needs to drop a few pounds before picking up the winning thread again. FAVORITE GIRL is the likely pace angle and her yard has been in terrific form lately. She’s not badly treated on her best form and Harry Reed’s claim is a bonus.
