In depth

Verdict

IRISH OCTAVE is generally at his best when he has a galloping track on which to build up momentum but he has won around here in the past and connections will have expected a 6lb rise for scoring at Chepstow. Boughtbeforelunch has been knocking on the door and a good run from Coopers Square earlier in the day would boost his credentials. Paul Webber also runs the enigmatic Copperfacejack but Domingo has a bit to prove at present.
