Verdict
The Pinto Kid got his act together at the end of last year when landing a double over shorter trips at Kempton. He’s worth another try over today’s distance on his return but Grandscape has been competing in amateur races and has something to prove off his current mark. Singing The Blues is another to consider back down in trip having missed out on a four-timer when runner-up over 2m at Lingfield but HOULTON makes most appeal. He’s been competing over 2m recently but scored over a similar trip here in November and is taken to reverse earlier running with The Pinto Kid with Ryan Moore taking over the reins.
