Verdict
Baron Bolt ended last year dead-heating for first in the Ayr Gold Cup though has yet to win on the all-weather. DREAM OF DREAMS also returns to action having raced exclusively in Pattern company last term and going close on several occasions including a neck defeat in the Group 3 Benbough Stakes at Ascot. He finished in front of Hey Jonesy at Ascot and may prove good enough in a tight sprint on his return. Kevin Ryan’s charge finished ahead of Eirene at Doncaster subsequently and the latter’s stablemate Tropics seems best over the minimum trip nowadays while Foxtrot Lady should be winning again later in the season having shown good progress last year and is preferred to Rock On Baileys.
