Unplaced on the all-weather this year, Gems got off the mark on only her second start on turf at Folkestone three weeks ago. A 9lb rise in the weights looks a bit harsh though and she'll need to improve again. Guga and Animator continue to drop down the handicap and both produced better efforts last time, while Market Puzzle has claims on his best form, but a chance is taken on LAVERRE. She was at her best at this time last year and placed efforts at Ripon and Doncaster is the best form on show here. Lucy Wadham's filly might just be up to taking this on her return to action.
