Gardiners Hill makes a quick reappearance after winning a staying handicap over hurdles at Newton Abbot on Friday but this is a hot contest for the time of year. Theclockisticking started favourite for the Listed Summer Cup at Uttoxeter in June but only managed seventh, though did finish a place ahead of Blairs Cove. All of the others are returning from a break but QUARENTA looked a decent recruit to the chasing ranks last season and was possibly unlucky not to win at Haydock in April as he lost a shoe on the way around.
