Noah Jameel is bound to be popular with backers racing off just a 3lb higher mark than when successful at Kempton last time but it may be that Tony Newcombe's gelding is better on the Polytrack that on turf and preference is for Ryan's Future, who gets the vote ahead of Trysting Grove. The last mentioned has shown gradual improvement in recent starts on the Polytrack but the handicapper has taken note of that and he may now be a shade high in the weights so looks best watched. Ben Bacchus finally came good when landing a moderate classified stakes race at Kempton two starts ago and has been well held back in a handicap since then. Brastar Jelois remains well enough treated and will appreciate the cut in the ground so Reg Hollinshead's mare has to be respected and arguably has more solid claims than stable companion David's Cavalier, who is admittedly lightly raced. The vote though goes to Ryan's Future, who looks to have been given a really good chance by the handicapper and he is taken to make the most of what seems a favourable mark.
