Some nice novices go here and Lady Zephyr looks capable of giving weight away and taking the race, with Qualitair Pleasure, Harringay and Ryhall others who can be closely involved. Lady Zephyr looked a potentially smart hurdler when rattling up three bumper wins last season, and underlined that impression with two good runs over hurdles so far, the latter a soft ground Towcester win earlier in the month. She jumps well, conditions again suit here and she shapes as though the step up in trip will be ideal, so she is the one for us. If she handles soft then Qualitair Pleasure could emerge as the big danger. Her bumper form was not as strong as the selection, and this is her debut over timber, so she has a bit to prove, but this trip will suit. Harringay took a Huntingdon bumper in the spring and comes out for the first time since. She is likely to know her job, so must not be discounted, while Ryhall is weighted to get the better of Lady Zephyr on their Bangor running from May, but she took a tired fall on her hurdling debut and now has to prove she is over that, so we are happy that Lady Zephyr's engine will prove good enough.
