Southport has much to prove over fences and Psychocandy was well beaten in a lower grade here earlier this month. Irish Octave has won three times over fences but is still 6lb higher, though only found one too good at Uttoxeter last time. Guerrilla Tactics stays well and won off a higher mark over hurdles here last year but a return to 3m might suit TURBAN, who is well handicapped at present and has been running well enough over shorter trips recently. The Boss's Dream is preferred to Culm Counsellor of the remainder.
