Martin Pipe's Quick is likely to be all the rage here with Fallon booked but it could pay to side with proven stayer Moonshine Beach or local hope Quedex. Moonshine Beach has run a string of consistent efforts for Peter Hiatt and now looks on a very reasonable mark. He is suited by this marathon trip, loves fast ground and has the advantage of the excellent Dane O'Neill in the saddle. Quedex was a good recent winner at Kempton before running below his best last time out at Chepstow. The quicker going should be in his favour and he is respected with Robert Miles once again booked to ride. Quick has been going well over hurdles and obviously merits a look with the champion booked. His flat form is nothing special however and bets on him should be kept to a minimum. Moonshine Beach is the choice, then, with Quedex looking the main danger.
