Sussex-based trainer Garry Moore has enjoyed his best ever season to date under National Hunt rules and Watchful Witness can do his bit to supplement Tikram's Cheltenham success and add to the impressive haul of prize-money attained by the yard over the last fortnight. There are a number of dangers though and Sigwells Club Boy, Your Advantage and Business Traveller are selected as the ones most likely to make the selection work the hardest today. However, they are all proving to be hard to win with at the moment and are vulnerable to a more progressive rival. Watchful Witness fits that exact profile and, with further improvement anticipated, he has been found a good opportunity to add to his tally today. The imposition of a penalty for Watchful Witness' victory at Plumpton should ensure that a fair price can be squeezed out of the betting market but he looks progressive enough to shrug off the burden and can go on to better things if he runs as expected here.
