Portal, Dont Dili Dali and Abhisheka form the short list for the feature race, with the selection being Abhisheka. The three short-listed runners are rated the best of these on official assessments. Abhisheka showed a liking for soft going when winning two handicaps last summer and she has since run with great credit at Listed level and, indeed, in Group class. She gets our vote. Dont Dili Dali, an all-weather Listed winner last season, finished ahead of her in the Dahlia Stakes at Newmarket in May, although today's conditions might suit the selection better. Enforce finished sixth in the same contest. Mango Mischief won this race last season and a return to that level of form would see her go well, and Portal also gets a solid shout based on her Group 3 Listed placing at York on good to soft last time, although she is said to prefer faster going. Also, she comfortably holds Dash To The Front based on Goodwood Listed form of last August, although that run did come on good to firm going. Of the others, Queens Best will like the going but needs to improve on the form she has so far shown if she is to feature. All of which returns us to the selection, which is Abhisheka.
