Verdict

This could be competitive if the majority of the field either run up to their best or improve for the switch to handicapping. DELENA is our idea of the winner, Bonchester Bridge, Figurita and Pearl should also be popular. Bonchester Bridge has slipped to a competitive mark if recapturing her sparkle whilst the likes of Quechua Des Obeaux, Darn Hot and Marias Rock are completely unexposed. Ready To Crown was a fortuitous winner at Stratford and is vulnerable but Figurita should improve for this step back up in trip and has sound claims as does Pearl for whom the booking of Murphy takes the eye. Delena has had just the one run since leaving Paul Nicholls and was travelling well enough when falling before the race began. She only has a win in a bumper to her name but has run some sound races in defeat, leading us to believe that she's not too badly treated; with her yard going well, Delena may be able to add to that sole success.
