This may have attracted a maximum field but it probably won’t take much winning. Good News is an obvious candidate after a recent double at Fontwell but steps up a grade raised a further 7lb. POND ROAD ran in snatches when favourite at Fontwell last month and, in the end, found 3m2f too far. This should be a more suitable test and Kim Bailey’s charge remains unexposed. The Distant Lady may have needed her run at Market Rasen and Nessfield Blue was noted staying on strongly at Chepstow. Fair Kate also warrants a mention along with the veteran Milan Of Crystal.
