Verdict

Mr Perfect was placed in a couple of bumpers before a second at Plumpton last season but has an absence to overcome. All-weather winner Voice Of Calm only beat one home on her hurdling debut at Kempton but she was making up ground in the closing stages and this represents a drop in class. RAFFLE TICKET looked to be holding the odds-on Hooper at Hereford when falling at the last. That was his debut under Rules and compensation awaits here if confidence hasn’t been affected. Hooper’s yard run Italian Legend but he’ll need more time judged on his run in a Lingfield bumper.
