This is a tough race to fully fathom, but for the selection we will side Mystery Pips ahead of Chorus, Diamond Ring, Flapdoodle, Joyce's Gift and Chatshow. The selection is a filly that seems to go well at this time of year and she is now rated four pounds lower than when achieving her most-recent victory, at Goodwood in September 2003. She can, accordingly, be given a chance in a race that, as we say, looks tricky, with each of the runners being rated 45. Chorus has run some fair races off higher ratings, as has Diamond Ring, along with Flapdoodle. If you knew he was on a going day, you'd certainly have the latter on the shortlist. Harbour House is also back to a winning Turf mark but John O'Groats seems to have lost his way. Joyce's Choice caught the eye making late headway last time, while, being from an in-form stable, Chatshow could well get into the picture. For what it's worth then, that's our view, with the vote going to Mystery Pips.
