This race is all about Leverage and he may well win and win well but he'll be short enough and we'd prefer to take a chance with either EARLSMEDIC or Barons Spy. Leverage will be many people's idea of the winner given his eyecatching form figures and trainer/jockey combination and it would be no surprise were he to have more in the locker. He came home strongly to win his maiden but the form has worked out abominably and his initial mark looks too high as a result. Barons Spy is just 2lbs higher than when winning over course and distance in June and he merits close consideration in this company but we've decided to chance Earlsmedic. He's another dropping in the weights and he's just 1lb higher than when making every yard at Yarmouth in May. He's not been the easiest to catch right but the yard continues to go well and this test could suit him. Orpsie Boy has regularly faced stiff tasks but has come a long way down the weights and is too well handicapped to ignore whilst Bel Cantor and Fesko come here on the back of decent efforts but we'll take a chance with Earlsmedic.
