The mares Little Miss Darsi and Roses Poses and also Three County's are recruits from the point-to-point circuit so won’t fail through lack of stamina. Pontresina was third at Kempton and Fontwell earlier in the year but doesn’t set a particularly high standard. Neither does Trixster and Casemates Square may do better when tackling handicap company. GENERAL ALLENBY needs to improve on his hurdles form to date but did win on the Flat over 2m around this time last year and has more scope than a few of these.
