        Verdict

        These early-season nurseries can be difficult to unravel as many have been biding their time in maidens. Rita's Boy must go on the short-list dropped a grade but could have been better drawn. Don Sigfredo may need an extra furlong but River Spirit won on the Turf at Lingfield before coming up short in a better race at Bath and isn't without a chance. FOXTROT KNIGHT is speedily bred so may yet prove better than he's shown so far. He caught the eye in his latest fourth at Yarmouth and is probably on a decent mark on his handicap debut.
