In depth

Verdict

This is a better race than the one won by Eva's Oskar at Hexham back in May. Portway Flyer’s fitness will have to be taken on trust after a very long absence but course winner Mister Universum has been running well over the summer and the four-year-old Prabeni should have benefited from a run at Uttoxeter. Jubilympics showed enough last season to suggest she could pick up a race like this but STONY STREAM looks the one to be on as he probably didn’t act on very soft going when beaten at Cartmel in July.
