Cotosol, Kamanda Laugh, Phluke and Leaping Brave are the principles in this competitive handicap and we will give the tentative nomination to Cotosol. This 3-year-old gelding has conditions to suit and if he can reproduce his recent win over Efidium in a handicap at Thirsk he will be hard to beat. Kamanda Laugh is stepped into handicap company for the first time and he has shown a fair level of form to date, but he is probably better over 6 furlongs. Phluke has been in good form of late but now looks to be in the grip of the handicapper, while Leaping Brave is in handicap company for the first time and is also stepped up slightly in trip so could be interesting. But Cotosol is still lightly-raced and open to plenty of improvement, and he is put forward as the one to beat.
