In depth

Verdict

Back at this trip, Oceancookie should go well and she gets the vote here with Hilltop Rhapsody, Iphigena and Ushindi rated as her main dangers. The Andrew Balding-trained selection was quite well-backed on her last run, but the mile she encountered at Bath that day seemed to stretch her stamina. Given that she should still be on a mark from which she can win, we make her the choice today. Hilltop Rhapsody is also dropping back in trip after running well last time, and she can go well, while Iphigena is now close to a winning Turf mark, so watch the betting with regard to her, while Chasing The Dream should better last season's efforts this time around and can't be discounted. The expensive purchase Ushindi is another to keep an eye on at this relatively modest level, and the best of Ballycroy Girl's form gives her a chance. It is hard to build a compelling case for most of the others, which spins us back to the selection, which is Oceancookie.
