Verdict

ARDLETHEN would probably have finished second at Bangor on his debut under Rules had he not fallen at the last. A winning pointer, his long-term future will be over fences but this looks a good opportunity. Oscar Ceremony has shown promise in both starts to date while Halloween Harry kept on for pressure when third at Haydock having been outpaced on the turn for home. Good And Hardy can only improve on his fourth at Chepstow where not much separated him and third Full Tilt. Dusky Hercules has a cracking jumping pedigree but will need to jump better than at Plumpton if he is to win races.
