A wide open handicap chase here and there is very little between may of the leading lights but the principals look to be Elsie's Pride, Ravenscar and Dickie Lewis and the tentative nomination is given to Elsie's Pride. The selection won well last time out when beating Proud To Present and although rising in the weights he looks progressive, and under similar conditions here he looks the one to be on. Ravenscar rates the main danger as he beat Physical Force last time out. However, this looks more competitive and he looks vulnerable under his penalty. Dickie Lewis was a fair third behind Lease Back in a hurdle when last seen and is sure to have come on for the run so he should be watched in the market. Sporting Rebel was third behind Remainder last time and is another with place claims but his best form is over a longer trip. Of the remainder, Ask The Umpire has conditions to suit and could go well off his light weight but for the winner we are happy to return to the progressive Elsie's Pride.
