Catawollow should confirm last week's Fakenham running with stablemate Pobs Trophy but faces slightly better opposition here. Aperitif won in the grade at Worcester in August but hasn't been seen since, while Goat Castle was a big disappointment when favourite at Stratford last time following a second over this C&D earlier. Barliffey needs to step up on his fourth at Carlisle to land this but a case can certainly be made for CUSTODIAN. He ran his best race over hurdles on fast ground at Clonmel last month and a repeat of that effort would probably suffice here.
