In depth

Verdict

Garbanzo was well regarded on the Flat in his younger days but has been a disappointment over hurdles so far. Bagan had to be eased in grade to score at Huntingdon but there possibilities about HUNTING PERCIVAL despite an odds-on defeat at Fontwell. Tom Lacey’s charge has won around here and any rain would aid his cause. Rapid Flight has only won a Southwell maiden so far but is still relatively unexposed whereas Begin The Luck has been beaten twice off lower marks since scoring at Southwell last month. Billy The Squid is a law unto himself nowadays.
