Verdict

MINELLACELEBRATION won this last year and, on 9lb better terms, can reverse last month’s running here with Solomon Grey, who isn’t certain to stay this far, and complete the double. There are plenty of dangers including William Of Orange, who has improved for a change of scenery. Psychedelic Rock has won three of his last four but is another for whom stamina may be an issue in a strongly-run race. Landofsmiles is a resolute galloper, however, and Back On The Lash could be anything after a couple of routine novice victories. Lock's Corner was well backed for a hot handicap at Leopardstown last season but let down by his jumping, though has since won over much shorter at Stratford.
