Verdict

A cracking entry for this valuable handicap including the first three from last year. The 2017 winner DAYS OF HEAVEN can compete off a 2lb lower mark and looks a threat to all again if he settles better than he did last time at Cheltenham. Last year’s second Valseur Du Granval is 3lb higher but bolted up over 2m at Ludlow last time while last year’s third Henryville travelled strongly for a long way before falling at the last at Newton Abbot in the race won by the much-improved Cut The Corner, who should again beat third Roman Flight. Wadswick Court is back on a career-high mark after winning at Perth and Kapstadt ran only four days ago but Born Survivor was back on song at Southwell earlier this month so enters calculations. Some Invitation found 3m2f too far last time at Cheltenham and is another to consider.
