Verdict
North Wind was ridden by Donnacha O'Brien when a very good third behind stable companion Van Beethoven at Naas and he keeps the ride. National Guard never really got going until too late over an extended 6f at Cork and already looks as though he needs further. Ryan Moore has chosen Cardini so the first foal of a 7f winner by Irish 2,000 Guineas winner Magician must have been showing plenty at home. It's Not Too Late is related to several winners though this looks on the short side so a chance is taken with INDIGO BALANCE, a brother to Group 2 winner Cable Bay and related to several other winners.
