Martin Pipe's Astronaut was a decent performer in this grade two year's ago and has to be respected, however we will side with Aleemdar, with Idlewild and Somewin also expected to go close. The selection was good value for his narrow success at Cartmel last time. He had done very little for sometime but was quite decent in his younger days and as this was his first run in a year he should be capable of improvement. Idlewild did well in slightly better company last time and although not exactly shooting down the weights, he should be capable of getting involved in the finish. Somewin was successful in a similar race to this back in May and hasn't been disgraced in better company since. She gets into this race on bottom weight and has to be respected. Fullopep and Fiddles Music also catch the eye on recent efforts, but so long as Aleemdar doesn't bounce he looks the one to be on.
