General Wolfe proved that he is no back number yet with a sound effort in defeat at Aintree last time and he is taken to have too much resolution for Irbee and Mr Dow Jones today. The 14-year-old does not know how to run a bad race and he is better suited to racing this way around than his old adversary Mr Dow Jones. Irbee goes well for Charlotte Tizzard, but he is a notoriously weak finisher; which will count against him again here.
