Dalus Park ran promisingly on his reappearance at Towcester last month and is taken to open his account for the season, with Lantern Lad and Young Lorcan rated the main dangers. The last two mentioned filled the first two places here last month with Lantern Lad coming out eight lengths on top. Not for the first time, Richard Ford's gelding suffered because of jumping frailties at Hexham last time but for which the eight-year-old may have followed up. He should again have the measure of Young Lorcan, even on the revised terms, but his jumping ability remains of concern and a safer bet looks to be Dalus Park. Like a lot of the stable's horses, Buzybakson has run to a consistent level of form this term and has to be respected but seems plenty high enough in the weights at present. Neither Coastguard nor Anflora make much appeal on recent evidence in a race beat left to Dalus Park.
