This looks open but WHERRIMON is interesting up a mile in trip after a solid effort last time at this venue when hunting up Mister Matt over a trip palpably short of his best. Caroline Bailey's charge was off for 15 months but has returned in good fettle and gets the nod over recent C&D winner, Knight Woodsman. The latter is hit with a swingeing 10lb rise for that success but this is only his fourth chase and he looks an improver. House Of Bourbon mixes chasing and hurdling well and put up a good effort behind Kiama at Worcester last time after an absence. Beaten 15 lengths, he had the rest nicely accounted for and the third has scored since. Gaelic Flight is into the veteran stage but retains his form and enthusiasm and cannot be ruled out despite topweight.
