Riggs ran a decent race on his return to action at Ascot and should be winning soon. Florrie Knox hasn’t won for a while but was second at Hexham on her reappearance and Easter Gold should be capable of holding his own in handicaps this season. Le Grand Fromage has placed in both starts this term but Nifty At Fifty and Transpennine Star both have their quirks and may need further. JAMESSAINTPATRICK has only had a couple of runs since winning at Warwick last December. His latest fourth at Newton Abbot suggests he retains plenty of ability and the more rain the better for Amy Murphy’s charge. Java Point is proving disappointing but looks best of the rest.
