Verdict

This looks a particularly well-contested mares’ hurdle but we’ll give another chance to COQUELICOT, a smart bumper who probably just needed the run and the experience when beaten on her hurdles bow at Fontwell. Pure Bliss is having a first run since pulled up in an Ascot bumper in February but she’s had wind surgery since and still has a future. Anythingforlove was 2-2 in bumpers and is another interesting contender but Gabrielle Du Seuil may need this. Gazette Bourgeoise got outpaced in bumpers but a switch to hurdles should prove beneficial.
