In depth

Verdict

Alex Hales and Sue Smith are both doubly represented in this. Second over a longer trip here in May, Ultimatum Du Roy looks best of the former's pair ahead of Big Jim but there doesn't look a lot between the latter's two runners on the form book. BENNYS WELL has won three times on soft going and is also a previous course winner so we'll give Sean Quinlan's mount a tentative vote ahead of last month's Hexham winner Friendly Royal as he beat Ravens Brook at Carlisle earlier in the year. Iona Days is usually thereabouts but King Of Glory remains winless and is getting no closer.
