Calin Du Brizais has won his last two over this trip at Newton Abbot but was only third here earlier when 19lb lower. SCHINDLER’S PRINCE made it three from three on the track two weeks ago and has nothing to fear from Basford Ben on that run. A 5lb rise is not excessive and he is more straightforward than another hat-trick seeker Bronco Billy and his stable companion Lost Legend. Valleyofmilan is also a bit of an enigma but capable on his day and preferred to the returning Billy Two Tongues.
