    Verdict

KING MURO and Sand Blast are the stand-out pair according to official ratings. Both are eased in grade and ridden by 3lb claimers but it’s Fergal O’Brien’s seven-year-old who gets a narrow vote given he only weakened approaching the last in a Class 3 handicap at Cartmel last time. Newstart has won a seller since joining Brian Ellison and has a few pounds to find with likely market principals.
