This may not be as competitive as first appears. Bright Sunbird is running well and is only 2lb than when successful over 2m4f here last summer but we’ll take a chance on WAVERING DOWN, who goes well fresh and is also on a decent mark. Halifax got back to winning ways in s small field at Ffos Las and Kilfilum Woods was second over 3m1f at Warwick last month. The four-year-old Karavomylos, runner-up in both starts in handicaps, completes the shortlist.
