Eider Chase runner-up Posh Bird could go well again off her low weight while Devon National hero Clash Duff may still be improving, though will need to step up again to follow up here off an 11lb higher mark. Noel Meade's raider Another Palm has the past form to figure, but Arbor Supreme and Roalco De Farges may have too much weight and Ballyfoy isn't getting any younger and usually finds at least one too good. Victor Dartnall trained the winner of this in 2009 and both Connak and Honourable Arthur can be given some sort of chance while Master Overseer may be the pick of David Pipe's pair. MARINGO BAY has yet to win over fences but looked an out-and-stayer when runner-up to Alfie Spinner over 3m on heavy ground at Chepstow. Outpaced at Market Rasen next time, this test will be much more to his liking and he can come out on top under Noel Fehily.
