An open affair can go to Clock House, with Aberdeen Park, Fine By Me and course-specialist Young Lorcan just three others in with chances. Tom George's gelding won on his English debut at Wetherby last month and could be capable of running up a sequence of victories. He has a 6lb rise in the weights to conquer, but that doesn't appear insurmountable and he looks capable of another big run. Aberdeen Park won a seller at Towcester back in November but was then slightly disappointing when well-beaten last time out. If back on song he should be involved in the shake-up, as should Fine By Me who returns to hurdles after one run over fences. This ex-Irish gelding won well on his English debut and then performed with credit in later handicaps. He is one sure to stay the trip so he remains very much of interest. Four of Young Lorcan's seven wins have come at the course so he warrants plenty of respect back over hurdles off a mark 11lbs below his chase one. However he is not sure to run his race, so we will return to Clock House to take this contest.
