      MAGNA MORALIA would surely have won at Sedgefield on his hurdling debut had he not made a hash of the final flight and compensation awaits here as he gets 7lb from Naizagai, who had to be ridden out to make a winning start at Cartmel. Jan Wellens will need to brush up his jumping but gets cheekpieces here so is preferred to newcomers Cabot Cliffs and Bentley Wood.
