Captain Tom Cat was no match for Sangha River at Southwell but that winner looks a nice prospect and the third has won since. Seeusoon was only fourth that day but is open to improvement. El Borracho wasn’t disgraced on his hurdles bow at the same track while Magnum was second at Musselburgh earlier in the year and won on the Flat in his native Denmark. HIGH CHANGE’s run at Kempton last November was too bad to be true. He needs more but showed a fine turn of foot when winning his bumper and summer jumping ground may suit Charlie Hills’ gelding.
