Whiskey Chaser is a newcomer to note in this while Deputy Dan was beaten less than two lengths on his debut at Chepstow just under a year ago and won't be far away if fully wound-up. Little Pop won at Ludlow in December but then beaten there under a penalty and the 7lb extra here will also be a problem. SAMSON'S BAY made his debut in what looked a decent bumper at Sandown last month and, despite showing signs of inexperience, kept on well in the closing stages. He'll hopefully know more today and can get off the mark.
