    Verdict

Not a strong race and the market protagonists are likely to be What'sonyourmind, Farington Lodge and Ferimon and we nominate the last named. Ferimon has had his problems but he jumped beautifully at Huntingdon and if he can be as effective on this surface, he has to be that they all have to beat. What'sonyourmind has been heavily punted in the past and warrants respect. He finished very tired at Towcester and it remains to be seen as to how much that ordeal took out of him. Farington Lodge really should have won more races than he has but consented to blunder away his chance last time out. Happy Shopper hails form an in-form yard and it would be folly to discount him on the basis of a moderate run at Lingfield. Avadi failed to land a gamble at Towcester on his latest start and over this trip, it is unlikely that those punters will be chasing losses today. Ferimon does have a big weight to carry but he looks to be ahead of the handicapper and we seek not to oppose.
