A competitive contest gets proceedings underway with many unexposed types in opposition and the market will be very informative but the principals look to be Barbers Shop, Picts Hill and Killard Point and the narrow vote is given to Picts Hill. The selection was a fair second behind Sky Mack last time out, that form has since been franked and although this looks tougher his yard are in top form and under conditions that suit he looks a value bet in an open affair. Barbers Shop rates the main danger on his debut third behind Sizing Europe, he is another that is sure to improve and should be watched in the market. However the suspicion is he will be seen to better effect over a longer trip in time and he is taken on with this in mind. Killard Point is another that could go well on his latest second behind Trigger The Light but he is more exposed than most and again he looks opposable. Travelling Light is a well bred type from a top yard and should be noted in the market. Of the remainder What A Scientist ran with promise on his debut and is another with place claims but in a race where the market may well tell all, for the winner we return to Picts Hill to small stakes.
