This looks a good opportunity for MICKMACMAGOOLE to back up his recent success; the list of dangers is headed by Rathrockscourt and Star Tenor. The selection was good value for his winning margin at Hexham last time when Tony McCoy gave him a masterful ride. The champion is back on again today and with this longer trip in his favour he should prove hard to beat. Rathrockscourt was a little disappointing last time but he is another who will be suited by this longer trip and he has to be a player now that he is dropped into selling grade. Star Tenor won in this grade earlier in the month and his young jockey Peter Toole is good value for his 7lbs claim. Anglican needs to get his toe in to be seen at his best and he looks worth taking on, especially as he has been off the racecourse since March. Last Pioneer ran too badly to be true last time and is hard to fancy, and we will stick with Mickmacmagoole as our choice to lead them home.
