In depth

Verdict

Zip Pearl has improved on each of her five starts and is an obvious starting point after a good run over course and distance last time. She's been left on an unchanged mark and sets a fair standard. However, another chance is afforded to LEGAL BEAGLE who has to give 3lb away to the likely market leader. He ran a shocking raced at Hexham last time for which no explanation was forthcoming, but his previous run at the same track was a strong effort in the context of this race and he's worth chancing in the hope that latest disappointment was just a blip. The rest are pretty hit and miss, with Bizerta and White Walker shortlist suggestions.
