Midnight Jewel's latest effort represented an improved performance after a series of relative disappointments and a similar run would give him every chance off just 10-0. Quite a few rivals have proved disappointing, notably Danger Money, but this is a modest affair and the latter could quite easily be involved at the business end. Alfoski has one or two pieces of form that bring him into things but ALRAMZ has looked a different proposition on his last three starts and scored quite comfortably in the end at Newton Abbot last month. He has gone up 8lb for the win but is only a 5-y-o who is open to further progress and can go in again.
