Broken Reed, Red Echo and Forest Miller look the three to concentrate on in this novices hurdle and the vote is given to Broken Reed. The selection won well last time out when beating Bressbee and although having a penalty for that win he won in the style of an improver and he is taken to win again under conditions that suit. Red Echo rates the main danger as he also won well last time out when beating Nevado. Howevr he was all out on that occasion and the step up in trip is not sure to suit so he looks vulnerable on that basis. Forest Miller is another worthy of respect on his latest second behind Hot'n'Holy but is yard are out of form and at likely odds he looks worth taking on. Of the remainder A Few Kind Words is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he is vulnerable to something with a finishing kick and with this in mind for the winner to Broken Reed.
